Virat Kohli Played In Very Different Fashion: Aakash Chopra

While speaking on his YouTube channel, cricketer-turned-commentator Aakash Chopra hailed Virat Kohli for his patient knock against West Indies. Chopra said that the former India skipper kept his ego aside while batting in the match.

“Virat played in a very different fashion. He hit his first four after 80 balls and celebrated it as well. The biggest thing about this knock was that he kept his ego aside,” Aakash Chopra said.

“We might celebrate him as the king of world cricket but if the pitch is not like that and if you feel that you won’t get fours that easily, he says – ‘No problem, I will wait’. This thing always makes this player special,” said Chopra, who has played 10 Tests for India.
