India’s squad for the upcoming three-match ODI series against Afghanistan has finally been announced, and the selectors have made several interesting calls during the meeting held in Guwahati. Shubman Gill will continue as captain of the ODI side, while Shreyas Iyer will serve as his deputy for the series.
As expected, senior stars Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli have retained their places in the squad. Hardik Pandya has also been included, but both Rohit and Hardik have been picked subject to fitness clearance ahead of the series.
