Sanju Samson might be the other opener for the team in the next game. The right-handed batsman failed to score runs in the last game and got out for a duck. Gill might miss the next game and Samson will open the side one more time.

Suryakumar Yadav (C)

Suryakumar Yadav is the captain of India in the IND vs SL T20I series and will lead the side in the next match. The right-handed batter slammed stunning knocks of 58 and 26 in both games.
