The hosts India are ready to compete against the visitors England in the fourth and last game of this Test series at Narendra Modi Stadium (Motera, Ahmedabad), which will begin this Thursday (4th March) morning.
At present, the Indian team is leading this series by a 2-1 margin. A draw in the upcoming fourth game will be enough for them to win this Test series as well as reach the final of the ongoing inaugural ICC World Test Championship. However, they are surely thinking about the victory in this home Test series conclusion.
India vs England 2021, 4th Test: India’s Predicted XI
Rohit Sharma

Opener Rohit Sharma is in very good form with the bat as he is currently the second most run-scorer in this Test series by scoring 296 runs in six innings. While the right-handed batsman scored the brilliant 161 runs in the first innings of the second Test, he scored 66 and 25 not out in the last Test.
Shubman Gill

Another Indian opener Shubman Gill has scored 119 runs in this Test series. Apart from his 50-run knock in the fourth innings of the first Test, Gill hasn’t played good knocks in this Test series as he is facing tough challenges with the new balls. However, the youngster is very talented and the team management has strong faith in him.
Cheteshwar Pujara

Cheteshwar Pujara is taking a huge responsibility on the Indian Test batting side. But due to the lack of big scores in recent times, his recent Test batting average is going down. While his defensive batting is a big strength for the Indian Test side, he needs to find out to score in a quicker way by utilising the weak deliveries. He hasn’t scored a Test century after January 2019.
Virat Kohli (C)

Indian captain Virat Kohli hasn’t scored an international century for more than a year. Kohli is in good form with the bat as he has scored 172 runs in five innings of this series, including two half-centuries. However, the fans are still unhappy as they are waiting for a long time to see his 71st international century.
Ajinkya Rahane
Rishabh Pant (wk)

Wicket-keeper batsman Rishabh Pant has scored 169 runs in the three matches of this Test series, including two half-centuries. Moreover, Pant has also impressed with his keeping in the last two Tests. Now, he has to prove his consistency in the upcoming matches.
Washington Sundar

The 21-year-old Washington Sundar has impressed as a lower-order batsman while he still needs more opportunity as a bowler. In the last game, he returned to the playing XI but didn’t get many opportunities as he took a wicket in his only over (also that was not even complete) of that match. Hopefully, he will get more opportunity in the last game of this Test series.
Axar Patel

All-rounder Axar Patel has highly impressed in his very first two Tests of his career. He is currently the second most wicket-taker in this Test series as he has taken 18 wickets in two Tests, including three fifers and one 10-wicket haul.
Ravichandran Ashwin

Ravichandran Ashwin is currently in superb touch and he is one of the front-runners to win the Player of the Series award in this Test series. At present, Ashwin is the leading wicket-taker in this Test series with 24 wickets in six innings, including two fifers. Also, Ashwin scored one crucial century during India’s second innings of the second Test of this series.
Mohammed Siraj
Ishant Sharma

The last Test was the 100th Test match for Ishant Sharma which is an incredible milestone for an Indian pacer. While he has limited duties in this series, especially in the last two Tests, Ishant has worked very well as he has taken 6 wickets in three matches of this series.
