Ahead of the IPL 2021 auction, Royal Challengers Bangalore dropped 10 players from their squad and retained 12 players. After the conclusion of the mini-auction, Royal Challengers Bangalore have 22 players in their squad.

During the auction, Royal Challengers Bangalore bought Australian cricketer Glenn Maxwell for Rs. 14.25 crore. To strengthen their bowling department, RCB bought New Zealand pacer Kylie Jamieson for Rs. 15 crore. Royal Challengers Bangalore bought wicket-keeper KS Bharat for Rs. 20 lakh in IPL 2021 auction. The 27-year-old batsman plays for Andhra Pradesh at the domestic level. KS Bharat was part of Delhi Daredevils in IPL 2015 but did not play any match. Royal Challengers have Josh Philippe and AB de Villiers for the wicket-keeper’s slot in the team. Therefore, Bharat might have to wait for his inclusion in playing 11 of Royal Challengers Bangalore.

Suyash Prabhudessai

Suyash Prabhudessai also found his selection into Royal Challengers Bangalore during IPL 2021 auction. IPL 2021 is Suyash Prabhudessai’s debut IPL season. The 23-year-old all-rounder plays for Goa at the domestic level. Prabhudessai has played 16 First-class, 28 List A, and 17 T20 matches so far. He is a very inexperienced player and Royal Challengers Bangalore might refrain from inducting him into the playing 11 in IPL 2021.

Pavan Deshpande

Pavan Deshpande has been part of RCB since 2018 but is yet to play his first IPL match. The 31-year-old all-rounder plays for Karnataka at the domestic level. So far, he has played 8 First-class, 23 List A and 23 T20 games. Royal Challengers Bangalore have some big names in the squad so Deshpande will find it difficult to become a part of playing 11.

Rajat Patidar

Rajat Patidar was bought by RCB in IPL 2021 auction. He is a batsman who plays for Madhya Pradesh at the domestic level. So far, 27-year-old Rajat Patidar has played 36 First-class, 36 List A and 22 T20 matches. With popular batsmen like Glenn Maxwell, Virat Kohli, AB de Villiers and Devdutt Padikkal present in RCB, Rajat Paditar might have to lose his inclusion in the playing 11 in IPL 2021.

Sachin Baby

During IPL 2021 edition, Sachin Baby was also bought by RCB. Sachin Baby has been a part of IPL for a long time but hasn’t been able to make a mark in the league. He was part of Rajasthan Royals in IPL 2013. He was part of Royal Challengers Bangalore in IPL 2016 and IPL 2017.
