IPL 2021: Yuvraj Singh Delighted By Harpreet Brar's Performance Against RCB

Former Indian veteran batsman Yuvraj Singh hailed Punjab all-rounder Harpreet Brar for his performance in the game against RCB in match 26 of IPL 2021 and was very delighted with his state promoting match winners. Harpreet Brar picked up three wickets for just 19 runs in his four-over spell after contributing early with a 25 not out of 17 balls with the bat.

It was his first match of the season and he deserved the man of the match award. Harpreet Brar got the big wickets of Virat Kohli, Glenn Maxwell, and AB Devilliers in quick succession and created havoc in the RCB chase which couldn’t gain any momentum further. Punjab won the game convincingly by 34 runs as a result of Harpreet Brar’s performances alongside KL Rahul’s match-winning knock.

Yuvraj Singh lauded the Punjab Cricket Association president, the secretary, and Harbhajan Singh for supporting match winners. He heaped praises on the youngster and added that it is the best way to show the critics of his potential. It was indeed, an excellent performance from Harpreet Brar who showed a lot of composure in his first game of the season.

Punjab Kings Get A Move On

Punjab Kings found their best playing XI in the game against RCB and Harpreet Brar seems to have fit into the team perfectly. He gives a handy batting option at the lower order and also can do the job with the ball. If he can give four overs continuously, Punjab will feel a lot more confident approaching the midway of the tournament. Punjab have now won three out of their seven games and are placed fifth in the points table with 6 points on board.
