Wanindu Hasaranga tied the knot with Vindya on 9th March (Thursday). The all-rounder took to his social media handle which stated:

Crucial Series for Sri Lanka

After the conclusion of the Test Series, Sri Lanka is slated to play 3 ODIs which are part of World Super League points. Currently, Sri Lanka is placed at 10th position with 77 points. The island nation has to win 2 matches to get direct qualification for ODI WC 2023 where the ODI series is set to commence on 25th March 2023 which promises to be a cracker.

It would be interesting to see whether Hasaranga plays the T20I Series which would end on 8th April as RCB’s opening game is scheduled on 2nd April against the heavyweights MI. Sri Lanka has been making progress but they are unable to win key moments of the match and their recent ODI Series defeat against India has raised the team’s dynamics.
