IPL Points Table 2026: Updated Standings, Orange Cap, Purple Cap After SRH vs RR Match 21

The TATA Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026, which travelled from the western part of India to the southern part, as in match no. 21, was between Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) and Rajasthan Royals (RR). SRH beat RR by 57 runs. RR won the toss and opted to field first, and both sides made two changes.
For the Orange Army, Praful Hinge and Sakib Hussain made their IPL debut as Harshal Patel and Jaydev Unadkat made way for the young guns. The Royals brought back Tushar Deshpande for Brijesh Sharma, and Lhuan-dre Pretorius made his debut with Shimron Hetmyer rested in the game. RR came in the match, winning four out of four games, and SRH won just one game.
IPL 2026: SRH vs RR Match Result:
The Orange Army had the worst possible start with Jofra Archer once again striking on the very first ball of the match, as he picked the wicket of Abhishek Sharma, as the batter went back on a golden duck. Then skipper Ishan Kishan and Travis Head took charge, and after the power play, they were 51/1.
After the end of the powerplay, Parag came in to bowl with two left-handers and got the wicket of Travis Head, who was dismissed on the score of 18 off 18 balls. The SRH skipper Ishan Kishan brought up his second fifty of IPL 2026 in just 30 balls. The Southpaw and Heinrich Klaasen then charged the RR bowlers.
The two batters stitched a partnership of 88 runs for the third wicket and pulled up the Orange Army from a difficult situation. Kishan, yet again, was excellent as he was dismissed on the score of 91 off 44 balls and missed out on a hundred in the game as SRH were 145/3 after the end of 14 overs.
Klaasen once again was brilliant on the night as the South Africa cricketer played a good knock of 40 off 26 balls. Nitish Reddy’s high-impact innings of 28 off 13 balls helped SRH to get past the score of 200. SRH could only get to the score of 216/6, as Salil Arora scored crucial runs, 24 off 13, and they will feel they were 20-25 runs short.
Coming out to chase, RR had the worst possible start as Vaibhav Sooryavanshi was dismissed on a golden duck, and then another duck with inform Dhruv Jurel was also back without scoring, and Lhuan-dre Pretorius was also back for a duck as Praful Hinge had a dream debut on the first over; he picked three wickets in the first over.
Hinge dismantled the RR batting lineup as he picked up his fourth wicket of the night, dismissing Riyan Parag for just four runs and putting the Royals on the back foot as they were 9/5 after three overs. Then Donovan Ferreira and Ravindra Jadeja stitched a partnership of 118 runs. The former scored his maiden fifty off 31 balls.
The South Africa batter was back in the pavilion after playing a sensational knock of 69 off 44 deliveries and saved the Royals from a humiliating defeat on the night. Jadeja was also back after scoring 45 off 32 deliveries. RR were bowled out for the score of 159. In the match, it was night of two debutants, Praful Hinge and Sakib Hussain who picked 4 wickets each.
