RR vs GT: Rajasthan Royals hosted Gujarat Titans in the 47th game of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025. The match between the two teams took place at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur on Monday (28th April).
Rajasthan Royals finally managed a win in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 as they beat Gujarat Titans by eight wickets. Asked to bat, the visitors had a brilliant start to their innings, with skipper Shubman Gill (84) and Sai Sudharsan (39) slamming Rajasthan bowlers all over the park.
The duo added 93 runs for the opening partnership to set the platform for the big score. Jos Buttler (50*) at three first supported Gill as they added 74 runs for the second wicket. The keeper-batter then batted till the end and slammed a brilliant half-century to take Gujarat Titans to a total of 209 for four.
In the chase, 14-year-old Vaibhav Suryavanshi (101) was at his brutal best. He started his innings with a six and then didn't look back. He hit a half-century in just 17 balls, which was the fastest of the season.
After that, he slammed a century in 37 balls, which is the second-fastest in the league. He was well supported by Yashasvi Jaiswal (70*) as the duo added 166 runs for the opening partnership.
Skipper Riyan Parag (32*) also played a vital hand as Rajasthan Royals chased the target with eight wickets in hand and over four overs to spare.
