It was a reckless shot from Rizwan against a bowler of Bumrah’s caliber. His wicket was certainly the turning point of the game, as Rizwan could have handed Team India their second defeat in the World Cup.

I don't think like that: Bumrah on Rizwan's wicket

However, Bumrah denied it by saying that he just bowled according to the situation and he didn't think about the opposition. Jasprit Bumrah was quoted as saying by ICC: “I don't think like that. But, you know, I look at the situation. For me, the greatest happiness is that whenever there's a problem or there's a puzzle, how do I solve it? What are my options?

Rather than thinking too much in the end or this is the opposition, I try to focus on how I help the team and how do I solve this problem. So, very happy that I could do it today. So, yeah, but there is nothing like that where I was thinking of the opposition.”
