Jasprit Bumrah refuses to dive to save four in Guwahati Test, Kuldeep Yadav fumes

Indian paceman Jasprit Bumrah angered spinner Kuldeep Yadav with some lousy fielding in Guwahati. The poor fielding restricted India from choking the opposition.
India lost the opening Test of this series against South Africa last Sunday at the Eden Gardens. They faced a humiliating defeat at the hands of the defending champions of the WTC, despite a spin-favouring track.
Jasprit Bumrah leaks runs with poor fielding, Kuldeep looks frustrated
Indian speedster Jasprit Bumrah bowled a stunning spell as always and challenged them with some accurate bowling. He threatened the outside edge of the batters in his 6-over spell.
However, after South African openers scored crucial runs without having lost a single wicket, Kuldeep Yadav was called in to break the partnership between Aiden Markram and Ryan Rickelton.
Yadav spun and deceived the batters, yet a full delivery to Rickelton was sent off to the fence when Bumrah refused to dive in order to save the boundary in the mid-on region. This happened on the first ball of the 23rd over.

Jasprit Bumrah cleans up Aiden Markram at the stroke of Lunch
After his poor fielding effort in the 23rd over of play Jasprit Bumrah was called back for an over right before Lunch. South Africa thrived the morning session with a 84 run stand between the two openers.
Though the Guwahati track cannot be referred as a bad pitch for batting like the Eden Gardens track, yet it is not a batting friendly pitch as well. It offers help to batters especially spinners but does justice to batters who held there nerves steady.
Bumrah returned with his 7th over of the game and cleaned Aiden Markram up with a ball which was dragged in by the inside edge of the Protea batter. First blood for the Indians.
Rickelton on the other hand was dismissed right after Lunch as South Africa suffered back to back blows. Kuldeep Yadav tossed a delivery to get rid of Rickelton as the ball which spun sharply kept low and took the outside edge of Rickelton's bat.
Rishabh Pant took a sharp low catch which seemed very well judged to get rid of the second Protea opener. This brings captain Temba Bavuma into the crease.
Rishabh Pant continued Shubman Gill's toss losing streak
After Shubman Gill was ruled out with injury, the Indian vice-captain Rishabh Pant took over as India's captain. He however, has continued his lineage of losing tosses in this Test as well.
Shubman Gill was ruled out following a neck spasm and was replaced by Nitish Kumar Reddy in the squad ahead of the second game. Sai Sudharsan made his comeback to the India XI while Washington Sundae returns to his former role in the lower order.
Reddy is likely to feature in Axar Patel's role though he would surely be less handy with the ball. This change was made due to the excess of left-handers in the playing XI.
