SRH were bowled out for 113 in the IPL 2024 final against KKR on Sunday. All the six KKR bowlers who bowled picked up wickets with Andre Russell taking three and Mitchell Starc taking two with the crucial wicket of Abhishek Sharma in the very first over.

Shreyas Iyer's captaincy was pinpoint as all the six bowlers he used picked up wickets. Mitchell Starc gave KKR a big edge as he dismissed Sharma who was the big threat in the very first over.

Vaibhav Arora dismissed Travis Head in his very first over as it was the second nail in the coffin. Eventually, Sunrisers Hyderabad were bowled out for 113 a target which should not challenge the KKR batters.

KKR spinners Sunil Narine and Varun Charkravarthy took three wickets together. Narine who came to bowl in the 16th over induced a false shot from Pat Cummins as Mitchell Starc, his Australian counterpart in this match dropped him at the long-on boundary.

The drop catch brought out a reaction from Bollywood actress Janhvi Kapoor who could not believe that Starc dropped an easy catch.

Narine was finally successful in dismissing Unadkat in the 18th over. Interestingly it was SRH skipper Pat Cummins who scored 24, the highest run-getter for his side in this final. He was caught finally at the long-on boundary by Mitchell Starc who dropped him previously.

Cummins was the last wicket to fall for SRH who were bowled out for just 113, which is the lowest total in an IPL final. KKR now need 114 runs to win their third IPL title.

All the KKR bowlers stepped up to the plate in the big final with the bowlers sharing the 10 wickets bowling first. The bowling performance of the KKR bowlers was remarkable in the big final. The batters now need to ensure that they chase down the target with ease and help the side win their third IPL title.

In the mid-innings break, Andre Russell spoke to the broadcasters about how the bowlers performed in the big game.

"We all know how important this game is. As big players, we all stood up tonight. Very happy with how I am bowling and very happy with how everyone's bowling. Just being disciplined, bowling to the plans and trying to bowl less bad balls. My fitness is a big part of that but mentally I am in a better space. I was mentally down for the last few years, going through a lot. At the end of the day, we stand firm, back ourselves and back the talent we have. My body is feeling very good, I want to stay this way for another couple of years. We are not going to take it (target) lightly. These guys (SRH) are going to come out and try to defend this total. We have to make sure that we get a good powerplay. If we get 40-50 without loss or even one wicket down, we are on our way. The bowlers set it up very well. We as batters have to get the job done." said Russell.

No SRH batters crossed the 30-run mark and it was the fourth lowest total for SRH in an IPL game. As said earlier, SRH's 113 is also the lowest total in an IPL final.
