England Cricket Team is all set to lock horns against Pakistan for a 3-Test Match Series. This Test Series is going to be vital for Men in Green as they still have a slight chance of making it to the final of the World Test Championship (WTC- 2021-23). They currently are placed at the 5th position with the 51.85 percentile.
The Men in Green would be hoping that there are no disturbances for this Test Series as earlier there was uncertainty regarding it due to the assassination attempt of former PM Imran Khan. This Test Series would be a quite fascinating one as both the teams are evenly matched.
James Anderson on Test Series
Veteran England pacer James Anderson was seen interacting with the media after the training session and made some interesting comments. “It’s been a long time and I didn’t play in those matches, but looking forward to an exciting Tests series, We have had the perfect preparation as we head to Pakistan. The facilities are great [in Abu Dhabi] with the amount of pitches here and we are enjoying the weather from the time we arrived.” said Anderson.
“It’s exciting for us having not been there for quite some time, and I think I’m probably the only player in this squad who has done a Test tour to Pakistan. I think the fans and players over there would be very excited to see us play.” he added.
Tough Task for Pakistan
England Cricket Team is on a roll at the moment. The team very well knows that they are out of the race of World Test Championship and are making sure that they are dragging other teams. They spoiled the party of New Zealand, India & South Africa and now would be targeting Pakistan.
Head Coach Brendon McCullum & Skipper Ben Stokes have been magnificent as their recently adopted fearless approach has been fruitful. The duo would be well aware that pitches in Pakistan would challenge their technique as scoring won’t be easy by any means.
