Michael Vaughan and senior India all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja were involved in a funny conversation after the former England captain posted a photo of himself nicely dressed in a suit.
Michael Vaughan, who actively uses social media and gives his opinions regularly on cricket and non-cricket stuff as well, on Tuesday, took to Instagram to present his new dapper look to his fans. The 46-year-old self-proclaimed “model” posed for the photo in a grey Charles Tyrwhitt suit.
“Back to the new day job today … 46 yr old model … loving the new custom made suit,” Michael Vaughan captioned the post.

India all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja wasn’t letting this post, and its caption, go by unnoticed. He was quick to comment on his, comparing the Englishman to the Hollywood actors.
“Looking like Hollywood actor,” Jadeja commented.
Michael Vaughan, too, snapped with his own cheeky reply, “Surely that comes soon Rockstar?”
Seems like Jadeja’s comment was in a sarcastic tone, pulling the former England skipper’s leg; while Michael Vaughan regarded him as “rockstar” which is one of Jadeja’s nickname.
Coming to the England cricket team, the ECB have announced an 18-man new squad, with Ben Stokes as the captain, for the ODI series against Pakistan starting Thursday.
The board was forced to change their original squad after the entire contingent which hosted Sri Lanka had to isolate following the 7 – three England players and four support staff – members tested positive for the covid-19 tests. Michael Vaughan, though, believes that the entire contingent needn’t be quarantined.
He cited the example of Billy Gilmour, a Scotland football team player, who had tested positive for the virus. But, in that case, the entire team wasn’t isolated and the rest of the players continued to play in the Euro Cup in England. Pakistan have a golden opportunity to register a series win over the hosts as they would be playing with a second-string squad.
“Billy Gilmour tests positive & not one Scotland team member or staff has to isolate … England cricket team members do & the whole squad has to go !?????? VERY VERY Strange times … I guess we will or should see Alex Hales again though …” he tweeted.
