LSG Full Squad, Team List, Players List After IPL 2024 Auction

Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) headed into the IPL 2024 auction with a remaining purse of 13.15 crores one of the lowest among all the franchises. It is one of the two new franchises that joined the IPL in 2022. So far in the last two seasons, LSG made it to the last four showing some sort of consistency.

Gautam Gambhir has parted ways with the franchise allowing Justin Langer to become the full-time head coach. KL Rahul will continue to lead the side with his arsenal of players. The franchise traded Devdutt Padikkal from Rajasthan Royals in exchange for Avesh Khan.

The franchise has some of the biggest names in T20I cricket worldwide. They retained Kyle Mayers, Marcus Stoinis, Mark Wood, Naveen Ul Haq, Nicholas Pooran, Quinton De Kock, and Ravi Bishnoi having a solid core of Indian and international players.

Among the players they released are Arpit Guleria, Daniel Sams, Jaydev Unadkat, Karan Sharma, Karun Nair, Manan Vohra, Suryansh Shegde, and Swapnil Singh. Unfortunately, none of them featured regularly in the playing XI, and hence the franchise has not really lost anything with the release of their players.

Having made it to the playoffs in consecutive seasons, the franchise will look to win the title in their third season in IPL 2024. Like every other franchise, they would also target some of the big names who will be up for auctions.

With Justin Langer being their head coach and a proper analyst of the game, he was very sure of the players the franchise targeted.
