He’s worked exceptionally hard- Tom Moody on Mayank Yadav's fitness
Moody provided a positive update on young pace sensation Mayank Yadav, "He’s worked exceptionally hard and is now ready to go," Moody said, stating that Yadav’s availability also creates a “selection headache” given the balance of LSG's bowling attack. "Our bowling has been pretty solid so far. We just haven’t produced the runs to back that up," he said.
Moody highlighted the increasing number of 200-plus totals and successful chases, especially at specific stadiums. He mentioned that the next venue has historically favoured teams batting second, making toss and game awareness crucial.
"At such venues, you don’t want to mentally chase massive totals from the outset if you’re batting first. It’s important to build your innings in phases and then accelerate when the moment is right," he said.
