Rishabh Pant was taken off the field after being struck on the elbow
Rishabh Pant came in to bat for the Lucknow Super Giants after Aiden Markram was dismissed off Rasikh Salam within the powerplay. Pant was ruled out of the match and was taken back to the dugout after the physios rushed out.
Hazlewood had struck the ball onto the cricketer's elbow, and he rushed in to check on the wicket-keeper batter, showcasing some promising sportsmanship on this occasion. This was a massive blow to the Lucknow Super Giants.
Rishabh Pant's injury came at the wrong time, as the two wickets fell in the early stages of the game after him leaving the ground. He could have backed the opener in Mitchell Marsh. He would need to be back on the field for the team after the flow of wickets. Pant is known as a courageous cricketer and might be seen back on the field.
