Mohit Sharma Reveals How MS Dhoni's Advice Has Positively Impacted His Personal Life

Veteran pacer Mohit Sharma recently revealed that legendary wicketkeeper batter MS Dhoni’s valuable advice has significantly contributed to his personal life. Mohit Sharma highlighted that the discussions between him and MS Dhoni are not always limited to cricket.
Mohit Sharma played with MS Dhoni for the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in the Indian Premier League (IPL). The right-arm pacer also played under Dhoni’s captaincy in India. He represented the Indian team in the 2015 ODI World Cup, picking up 13 wickets in eight matches.
We Don’t Just Speak About The Game – Mohit Sharma
Speaking on ‘The Indian Cricket Podcast’, Mohit Sharma revealed how MS Dhoni had an impact on his personal life with his valuable advice.
“We don’t just speak about the game. He also has many suggestions that help you in your personal life as well,” Mohit told ‘The Indian Cricket Podcast’.
“There have been many times where we have sat together after matches and you can’t talk cricket all the time. That’s when he has given me advice about how to individually evolve your personal character and that has helped me a lot,” he added.
Mohit made a strong impression with his bowling during the IPL 2023. He emerged as the second-highest wicket-taker, securing 27 wickets in just 14 matches. Notably, he went unsold in two IPL auctions before the last season.
There’s Not Just Mahi Bhai In CSK – Mohit Sharma
Mohit Sharma shared his experience of joining the superstars in the CSK dressing room, mentioning that he experienced a mix of excitement and nervousness.
“There’s not just Mahi Bhai in CSK. There are many people who I grew up watching play cricket like Stephen Flemming, Michael Hussey and Dwayne Bravo,” he further added.
“So when I entered the dressing room, I was in that phase where I didn’t know whether I should be excited or nervous. So I tried to be with those players who were like playing Ranji Trophy cricket or were around my level,” he concluded.
The Gujarat Titans (GT) failed to defend the title in the last edition of the IPL. Mohit bowled the last over and conceded two boundaries off the last ball against Ravindra Jadeja.
