Mohsin Naqvi levels serious allegations against Gary Kirsten to damage his reputation

Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Moshin Naqvi opened up about why the national cricket team parted ways with head coach Gary Kirsten. He revealed that the outgoing coach breached his contract, and hence, the decision was taken.
Pakistan National Cricket Team recently had another change in the coaching setup. Gary Kirsten, who was appointed as the head coach of the team 6 months ago stepped down from the role. He submitted his resignation to the Pakistan Cricket Board and it was accepted with immediate effect by the governing body.

It made many because no one expected this to happen. There hasn't been any official confirmation as to why Gary Kirsten stepped down. But there were reports that he didn't have any issues with the selection committee over squads for the upcoming tours to Australia as well as Zimbabwe.
Gary Kirsten reportedly wasn't happy with the decision to rest Babar Azam for the Zimbabwe ODIs and T20Is. He also had done a lot of planning for the Champions ODI Cup and had worked on a lot of things with the players for tours of Australia and Zimbabwe. But the selection committee wasn't on the same page.

With all the fuss about the resignation of Gary Kirsten, PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi cleared his part. He mentioned that the former South Africa National Cricket Team player broke his contract with the team and also made some breaches. Speaking to the media, he explained:
"He (Kirsten) broke his contract with the PCB and made some breaches. He ended the contract with us."
Moshin Naqvi also mentioned that the Pakistan Cricket Board are on a hunt for the new head coach. He mentioned after the Zimbabwe tour, the team will have a new coach in white ball. He added:
"We will have a new white ball head coach by the end of this month because Jason Gillispie has only agreed to manage the team in Australia for the white ball matches on an interim basis. He is more focused on his role as Red Ball head coach. The team will have a new white ball coach for the Zimbabwe tour."
Till the Zimbabwe tour, Pakistan has asked red-ball coach Jason Gillespie to take care of the white-ball team as well. The former Australia player will be the interim coach for the team in the upcoming two tours.

PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi also talked about the situation with Fakhar Zaman. The opening batter was terminated from the central contract after he posted a tweet on Babar Azam following the right-hander was dropped from the team from the Test squad.
Mohsin Naqvi mentioned that the issue will be handled by a special committee. He also said that his selection would be all dependent on the selectors as he doesn't interfere in the selector's and coaches' work. He elaborated:
“The issue of the show cause notice will be handled by a special committee of the board while the selectors have authority over selection matters. I don't interfere in the selectors and coaches work.”
