MS Dhoni Appointed As The Mentor Of Team India For T20 World Cup
MS Dhoni has been appointed as the mentor of the India National Cricket Team for the upcoming ICC T20 World Cup 2021. This has been done in a quest to help India win an ICC trophy after a draught of almost 7 years. Dhoni has had the opportunity of leading team India and he has won 3 ICC trophies as the captain including T20 World Cup 2007, ICC ODI World Cup 2011, and the ICC Champions Trophy 2013.
Virat Kohli has been leading the limited-overs side since 2017 and team India has failed to win an ICC trophy in these 4 years. India lost to Pakistan in the ICC Champions Trophy final in 2017 and then lost to New Zealand in the ICC ODI World Cup semi-final in 2019.
