Pakistan National Cricket Team fast bowler Naseem talked about the difficulties of having an overseas coach on the team. He admitted that the language barrier is a big factor, and some of the players don't understand what coaches say.

Pakistan National Cricket Team has always preferred to have foreign coaches in the team. Even in the current setup, both white-ball and red-ball coaches are overseas. This is because PCB believes having big foreign players will give a lot of exposure to their players.

However, one of the major challenges for both coaches as well as the players is the language barrier. Pakistan National Cricket Team players aren't much used to speaking English and the overseas coaches only speak that language, which comes as a big factor in terms of having coaches from outside Pakistan.

The Pakistan team is coached by Gary Kirsten in the white ball and Jason Gillespie in the red ball. Some of the key players of the team aren't well off in English and hence concerns have been raised by many experts and fans about the same.

Naseem Shah agreed that language sometimes becomes a barrier with foreign coaches. He claimed that they need someone to translate as a few things that players want to discuss with coaches are not easy to explain. Speaking to the Geo News, he explained:

"You are right It is a matter of language barrier. Some boys understand it. But you need someone to translate it and explain it correctly. There are some things that you want to talk in private. But you can go with someone who can translate for you. It is a different thing to make someone understand in your language."

I haven't been given any specific plan as of now - Naseem Shah on his workload management

Naseem Shah also talked about his workload management, saying that the Pakistan Cricket Board hasn't shared any specific plans with him yet. He admitted that playing in practice games and international cricket is very different, and all he tries to do is manage himself well. Naseem Shah elaborated:

"I haven't been given any specific plan as of now. But as a professional, I know that after a long time, it is not easy to come back. Because no matter how many practice matches you play, there is a difference of the ground and sky in an international test match.

"The pressure on the body, the body load is different. So my effort is to do the required preparation from my side, I can do that. Because if you increase the bowling load after injury, then it is very difficult."

Naseem Shah will be next seen in action during the Test series between the Pakistan National Cricket Team and the Bangladesh National Cricket Team. The series will begin from 21st August at the Rawalpindi followed by the second match to be played in Karachi on 30th August. Both games will be part of the ICC Test Championship which will be crucial games for both teams.
