England Cricket Team is all set to lock horns against Pakistan for a 3-Test Match Series starting from 01st December. England is set to play Test series in Pakistan after a span of 17 years The Men in Green have been dealt a massive blow as the speedster Shaheen Afridi is ruled out of the Series.

Pakistan would be pumped up to play in their home ground and would hope that this Series goes smoothly just like the 7 T20I Match Series against England. Head Coach Saqlain Mushtaq would be aware that England would be ready for all sorts of challenges.

Brendon McCullum on Shaheen Afridi

England Head Coach Brendon McCullum was seen attending the press conference and was asked about Shaheen Afridi. “Yeah, it’s obviously a big loss. Shaheen Shah Afridi, I know pretty well, I have played many years in the PSL with Shaheen as well. He is a wonderful bowler and he has turned into a fine leader as well amongst Pakistani cricket. So he’s a big loss, no doubt,” said Brendon McCullum.

“But one thing when you play against Pakistan and you look at their team sheet and you see talent. And you see, some of it may be not necessarily developed talent as such but it’s talent and you need to respect that and you need to find a way to be able to be well researched, well planned about what’s gonna come at you,” he added.

Fascinating Series on Cards

Pakistan has a solid chance of making it to the finals of WTC 2021-23 as they are placed in 3rd position with the 75 percentile. The Men in Green would be banking on the skipper Babar Azam to play a significant knock for the team as his form has been topsy-turvy.

Skipper Ben Stokes will have to bring his ‘A’ game as conditions in Pakistan would be testing. There are chances that Stokes may promote himself up the order to provide stability to the innings as the team is missing the services of Bairstow who is out with an injury.
