PAK vs ENG: Haris Rauf Ruled Out Of Multan Test

Pakistan Cricket Team suffered a heart-wrenching loss against mighty England in the 1st Test Match. England won the match by 74 runs and now has taken a 1-0 lead in the 3 Test Match Series. The Men in Green would be dejected as on a flat deck scoring 343 runs was never a stiff task.
With this loss, Pakistan’s percentile has dropped to 46.67 and now they have not only have to win the Test Series but register massive victories against England. Skipper Babar Azam would rue the fact that he couldn’t contribute in the run chase as his wicket turned out to be decisive.

Haris Rauf Injured
The speedster Haris Rauf was injured in the 1st innings due to which he couldn’t bowl in the 2nd innings. The pacer is doubtful for the Multan Test as he has injured his right quad. The pacer took 1 wicket on a flat deck in 13 overs and gave away 78 runs and showed a lot of promise on their Test debut.
Conundrum for Management
The team has the services of Mohammad Wasim Jr present but there are chances that the team may recall Hasan Ali or Mohammad Abbas. We all know that Hasan & Abbas are immensely experienced as the duo knows how to contain the batters. In the absence of Shaheen & Haris, the bowling attack now looks fragile.
Head Coach Saqlain Mushtaq will have to pull a rabbit out of the hat as this victory would have given England a tremendous amount of confidence.
The skipper Babar Azam will have to be spot on with the tactics as it looks unlikely that England would change their approach.
Skipper Ben Stokes would be eager to spoil the party of Pakistan in the 2nd Test Match as a loss for Pakistan would mean that they are virtually out of the WTC 2021-23 final.
