Pakistan Cricket Team is all set to lock horns as against the dangerous England Cricket Team on 01st December (Thursday). The Men in Green would be delighted to play in front of their home crowd as England is set to play a Test Match in Pakistan after a span of 17 years.

England would be aiming to spoil the party of Pakistan just the same way they did of New Zealand, India & South Africa. England is out of the World Test Championship (WTC 2021-23) whereas Pakistan has a strong chance of qualifying for the Final of the WTC.

Shoaib Akhtar on his career

Shoaib Akhtar was having an interaction with The Wisden and made some interesting comments on his career. “Had I been the fittest guy, I would’ve been the greatest ever. My doctor asked me recently: ‘Shoaib, you are in so much pain right now. Tell me one thing. Was it worth it?’ I said: ‘Doc, every minute of it. It was so worth it,” said Shoaib Akhtar.

Enthralling Series on Cards

The Men in Green are currently placed at the 5th position with a percentile of 51.85. The team needs to be at its best as England would be quite ruthless. It would be interesting to see what strategy skipper Babar Azam applies as it looks unlikely that England would change their fearless approach which has been fruitful so far for the team.

Head Coach Brendon McCullum would be keen to make a statement that they are not a team who only performs well in home conditions. The Head Coach will have to pull a rabbit out of the hat as winning in Pakistan is not easy as the pitches are spin-friendly and batters have to grind a lot to amass runs. Skipper Ben Stokes has shown that he has the knack of playing the waiting game as he holds the key along with the former skipper Joe Root.
