England Cricket Team’s Speedster Mark Wood had a stellar comeback to the International Arena. The right-arm fast bowler was bowling at an express pace of 150 km/hr and the Pakistani batters were in shock.  It won’t be wrong to say that Mark Wood is rejuvenated as he is making a comeback after 7 months yet he hasn’t looked scratchy.

ECB would be hoping that the pacer’s elbow injury doesn’t affect him again. We have seen in the past how injury-prone Mark Wood has been. He would be needed in the marquee event of the ICC T20 World Cup 2022 where in Australia, the pitches would be fast and bouncy which would suit him a lot.

Mark Wood on Test Cricket

Mark Wood was seen having interaction with Daily Mail and was asked about Test Cricket Return. “If they (England management) want me, I’ll be ready to go. The Test performances have given me belief in all the formats because, if you can do it at that level, I feel I can do it at any level,”  said Wood.

“They (surgeons) took all the bits of bone fragment out of my arm but the main problem was this ligament trapped in my joint. So he (surgeon) cut the ligament off and since then it’s been fine,” added Wood.

Good Depth of Fast Bowlers

England Cricket Team has some good resources as the likes of Luke Wood are doing a decent job. It won’t be wrong to say the Vitality T20 Blast has been quite efficient in producing quality bowlers. Reece Topley is another example who is bowling productive spells and he gets help from his height. The way Moeen is rotating the bowlers is quite good to see as he knows that this is a very long T20I Series.

England is hunting in the pack and there are inexperienced bowlers are getting big scalps. The visitors would be hoping that they win the 4th T20I match and take a 3-1 lead where it would be quite tough for Pakistan to make a comeback from that position. The 4th T20I match could be a turning point for both teams.
