The PAK vs ENG 4th T20I will be played at The Oval on Thursday, May 30. The third T20I was washed out due to rain. This is the second match of the series affected by rain after the first T20I which was a washout too. The weather forecast for the final game at the Oval does not look good either.

If the final match happens it will be the decider. England still have a chance to win the series while Pakistan have the chance to level it. ECB's decision to call back their players from the IPL 2024 playoffs have not yielded the best results as yet.

For Pakistan, the preparations for the T20 World Cup this series have not gone well. They won the series against Ireland 2-1 heading into this series but are trailing in this series after their loss in the second T20I at Edgbaston. Pakistan drew against the Kiwis 2-2 before playing against Ireland.

The two teams will encounter very different playing conditions than the one they are currently playing in England. It rains regularly in May and June in the UK and once again rain has played spoilsport in what could have been a closely contested series.

Both the teams have named their T20 World Cup squads. Pakistan are led by Babar Azam while Jos Buttler will lead England. He missed the second T20I due to his parental break as he and his wife are expecting a child. Moeen Ali was supposed to lead in the third T20I. In case Buttler decides to stay away, Ali will lead in the third game as well.

The two teams have played 30 T20Is between themselves with England winning 19 games and Pakistan nine. England won a T20I series 4-3 the last time they played this format in Pakistan.
