This was Sarfaraz’s fourth century in the longest format and, somewhat astonishingly, his first red-ball three-figure performance on home soil.

“I got good support from my family”: Sarfaraz Ahmed

He has not been a member of the Pakistani team for four years. Rameez Raja, the outgoing PCB president, reportedly declared that his time as a Pakistani player was almost up.
