Sarfaraz Ahmed To Replace Mohammad Rizwan

Mohammad Rizwan’s achievement in the test, however, has not been particularly noteworthy. Shahid Afridi, a former experienced player, was recently appointed temporary chief selector by the PCB. As soon as he gets there, Rizwan is released from the team. Beginning on Monday, Pakistan and New Zealand will play two Test matches.

Sarfaraz Ahmed, who hadn’t played a game in the purest form in over four years, was given a return opportunity by Pakistan for the Test match against the Black Caps. In January 2019 at the Wanderers in Johannesburg, Sarfaraz played in his last Test match, which was against South Africa.

Mohammad Rizwan, 30, has a stellar T20 record, but he hasn’t been able to live up to expectations in Test matches. Pakistan recently suffered a humiliating 0-3 loss to England in a three-match Test series played at home. In the series, Rizwan scored 29, 46, 10, 30, 19, and 7.

In other words, he was unable to reach 50 runs in any of the six innings. He has so far scored 1373 runs at an average of 38 in 27 Test matches. has 2 centuries and 7 half-centuries to his credit. His greatest effort is an unbeaten 115 runs.

Fast bowler Mir Hamza, who made his debut in 2018 but hasn’t had a chance since, was also given an opportunity by Pakistan. Hamza was eventually included in the national squad along with off-spinner Sajid Khan and pacer Shahnawaz Dahani despite not being a member of the original team.

Pakistan just suffered a 0-3 defeat to England, so they’d like to finish the year strong by giving the Kiwis a good fight.
