The world of social media is exceptionally delicate and even a small mistake could bring anyone into the spotlight, spreading like wildfire. Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) felt its effects as they committed a blunder while wishing their star fast bowler Hasan Ali a happy birthday. As a result, Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) found itself in an unsettled situation.

Hasan Ali, who earned 27 on the 2nd of July, 2021, received wishes from plenty of his fellow teammates and the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) took the opportunity to do the same. They took to their official Twitter handle and listed the right-arm seamer’s achievements. The board’s tweet started with the number of fixtures played by Ali in international cricket.

The second line involved the number of wickets taken by him in international cricket. Hence, while tweeting the number of scalps taken by Hasan in international cricket, PCB applied the wrong emoji. By using the middle finger, the PCB attracted the social media users’ attention in no time. While the association deleted its tweet, it was too late as the screenshots of the same had already started doing rounds.

Meanwhile, the PCB has put its hand up, expressing its desire to the ICC to host six global events from 2024 to 2031. The nation wishes to stage the 2026 and 2028 T20 World Cups and the fifty-over tournament in 2027 and 2031 alongside other Asian countries. The board also wants to serve as the host for the Champions Trophy in 2025 and 2029.
