Pakistan Playing 11 vs Bangladesh- 1st T20I, Pakistan tour of Bangladesh 2025:
Openers: Saim Ayub, Fakhar Zaman
Pakistan will open the batting in the first T20I against Bangladesh with the opening pair of Saim Ayub and Fakhar Zaman.
The duo has a decent amount of expierence in international cricket under its belt and will look to put that to full use in the upcoming.
Fakhar, especially, has been playing for Pakistan for quite a while now and would like to take the responsibility upon himself to score runs for the visitors.
Ayub, on the other hand, hasn't played much cricket since returning from the injury that he sustained in South Africa, which resulted in him missing the 2025 Champions Trophy.
The young batter would like to put on a strong performance in the first match to get the much-needed rhythm for the next couple of games against Bangladesh.
The pair of Fakhar and Saim will play an important role at the top of the order, considering the fact that Pakistan's middle order has been a hit or miss since they started playing together in the series against New Zealand.
The team management has decided to stick with more or less the same batting lineup that took the field against Bangladesh in May, with the addition of some key players and would hope that the batters prove their decision right.
Middle-order batsmen and all-rounders: Mohammad Harris (wk), Hasan Nawaz, Salman Ali Agha (c), Khushdil Shah, Mohammad Nawaz
As far as the team's middle order is concerned, the Men in Green have brought back experienced all-rounder Mohammad Nawaz, who can be used as a floater in the batting order and can fulfill that Shadab Khan was expected to play.
The rest of the middle order remains as it was in the team's last series against the same opposition that they will go head to head against in the first match of the series.
If we talk about the personnel that make up the middle order, it comprises Mohammad Harris, Hasan Nawaz, Salman Ali Agha, Khushdil Shah, and Mohammad Nawaz.
The team management would want their middle-order batters to put on a strong performance in order to help the team post an above-par total while batting first.
Bowlers: Hussain Talat, Mohammad Abbas Afridi, Sufiyan Muqeem, Abrar Ahmed
As far as the bowling is concerned, it has a new look to it with the likes of Mohammad Abbas Afridi, Hussain Talat, and Sufiyan Muqeem making it to the squad and are also expected to feature in the playing XI.
Fast bowlers Mohammad Abbas Afridi and Hussain Talat don't have a great amount of international expierence behind them and would like to showcase what they are capable of with the ball.
The spin bowling department will be handled by Sufiyan Muqeem and Abrar Ahmed, both of whom are quite young and will be supported by Mohammad Nawaz.
Captain Salman Ali Agha, Khushdil Shah, and Saim Ayub will also chip in with an over or two if required in the opening game of the series.
