Pakistan to play three T20Is and Two Tests against Bangladesh
The tour will commence with the T20I series with the first match scheduled to start on November 19 at Shere Bangla National Stadium in Dhaka. The T20I series will be completed on November 22 followed by the two Test matches, which will also be a part of the ICC World Test Championship 2021/23 points cycle.
The last time Pakistan toured Bangladesh in 2015, they were white-washed 3-0 by the Tigers in the ODI series and also lost the only T20I match but managed to win the two-match Test series 1-0.
Pakistan have an immaculate record in Tests against Bangladesh with 10 wins from 11 matches. They also enjoy an impressive record in the T20Is against Bangladesh with 10 wins from 12 matches.
Pakistan are ranked second on the ICC World Test Championship(2021-23) points table with one win in two matches, while Bangladesh will kick off their campaign against Pakistan.
There is also a high-level possibility that Bangladesh can join Pakistan in Group 2 of the ICC T20 World Cup Super 12 stage, if they turn out as the winners of Group B in the qualifiers stage.
