Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has come up with a massive development amid the tensions between India and Pakistan at the border. As per the reports in RevSportz, it is learned that all the games of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) have been shifted to Karachi from Rawalpindi.
The tensions between India and Pakistan are flaring up with each passing hour. Things are turning into a war-type situation as both nations are leaving no stone unturned to attack each other, firing missiles, drones, and gunshots at the border as well.

On Thursday (8th May), one of the Indian drones went on to hit the Rawalpindi International Cricket Stadium in Rawalpindi. The venue was all set to host a game between Peshawar Zalmi and Karachi Kings today.
In the wake of recent developments, all the remaining matches of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) have been shifted to Karachi. This means that despite the tensions, the league will continue and the games will be played as per the schedule.
The development confirmed that the match between Peshawar Zalmi and Karachi Kings has been called off, while the rest of the games will be held as per schedule. The PCB reportedly held an emergency meeting at Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium, which was attended by PSL franchise owners and top law enforcement officials.
The conclusion that was reached during the meeting was Karachi is the most viable option to avoid disruptions. With tensions getting higher, it remains to be seen what will be the future of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) going ahead.

Coming to the Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2025, Quetta Gladiators are at the top of the points table in the league. They have won 6 games out of their 9 matches in the tournament while Karachi Kings are next with 5 victories in the 8 games. With the kind of cricket they have played, they looked set to move ahead to the next stage.
On the other hand, Multan Sultans are having a tough time in the league. They have managed just 1 win out of their 9 games and would be now playing for the pride for the rest of the season. They would want to finish the season on high.

On the other hand, Abbas Afridi is the leading wicket-taker in the tournament with 15 wickets, followed by Jason Holder at two, who also has a same number of wickets.
