PCB To Pull Out Of ICC World Cup 2023 If Asia Cup Gets Shifted Out Of Pakistan- Reports

Asian Cricket Council (ACC) made it clear that the upcoming Asia Cup 2023 would be held at a neutral venue after an emergency board meeting in Bahrain. Pakistan was awarded the hosting rights of the Asia Cup 2023 but ACC President & BCCI Secretary Jay Shah said in 2022 that they cannot travel to Pakistan citing its Indian government’s decision.
PCB would be crestfallen with the decision of ACC where they are trying their best to bring International Cricket back to Pakistan. We all witnessed how smoothly the tours of Australia, England & New Zealand were where the visiting teams were happy with the security.

PCB Source on Asia Cup 2023
A source close to PCB was seen interacting with the media and was quite furious about ACC’s stand. “PCB isn’t happy with this thinking that Asia Cup could be relocated to some neutral venue, name of UAE is on top of the list which might get the hosting but if it happens then Pakistan will not travel to India for ICC World Cup 2023.” said the source

Huge Blow for World Cricket
ICC must intervene and find the ground as quickly as possible as we all know that India & Pakistan’s rivalry is considered to be one of the greatest. There have been talks going on that PCB won’t get the hosting rights which is quite questionable.
We all know that India & Pakistan doesn’t have healthy relations. It would be interesting to see how the PCB Chairman Najam Sethi deals with the situation as if PCB pulls out of the WC 2023, then there are chances that they could be banned from Cricket which is quite risky
