India National Cricket Team batter Prithvi Shaw has been in the headlines for the last few days. The Mumbai batter has witnessed a massive downfall in his career and has been even dropped from the state team squad for the ongoing Ranji Trophy 2024-25.

Seeing Shaw getting dropped, made Australia legend Greg Chappell penned down an encouraging message to the young batter. The legend of the game wrote to the batter that he should cherish these challenges and told him that these kinds of setbacks played a massive role in changing a player's career.

He has been working hard under the Mumbai Cricket Association’s trainer, Amogh Pandit, who kept a close watch.

When Shaw came into the scenes, he was touted as the future of Indian cricket. He made himself a huge name in the U19 World Cup 2018, where under his leadership, the India team won the tournament, and he led from the front. following that, he set the stage on fire in IPL as well as the domestic circuit.

Prithvi Shaw made an immediate impact with the bat on the international stage as well and he slammed a century on his Test debut. He continued making an impact for the team, and after taking big strides forward in his journey early on, the batter has faced massive decline and is nowhere near the scenes even in the domestic circuit for Mumbai.
