Punjab Kings (PBKS) takes on CSK in the reverse fixture of IPL 2024 in Dharamsala on Sunday, May 5. Dharamsala will be the home ground for the Kings for two games this season.
PBKS won their previous fixture against CSK at home. They have now won five back-to-back games against the five-time champions. The Kings chased down 162 in the previous match against CSk in Chennai.
They were professional throughout the chase finishing the game with 13 balls to spare. PBKS have got a nice momentum heading into this game. They look a much settled side having won their last two games.
Sam Curran as PBKS captain has now won back-to-back games and looks a much better captain. Shikhar Dhawan has now missed five games for the side and his return will be a concern with the side. They can very well play the same side on Sunday.

Bairstow will open the batting for PBKS. He scored an unbeaten hundred against KKR and a breezy 46 against CSK in the previous game. He has now scored over 200 runs in the tournament. He needs to give a good start to his side.
Rilee Rossouw
Rossouw was on fire in the last game against CSK. He scored 43 off 23 balls and played a key part in the run chase against CSK. He missed out on South Africa's T20 World Cup squad.
Sam Curran (C)
In case Shikhar Dhawan continues to stay out, Curran will lead the side and bat at three. The England all-rounder scored 26 off 23 balls and shared a 50-run stand with Shashank Singh to take PBKS home in the last match.

Shashank might once again bat at four. He did the job batting at that number in the last two games for Punjab Kings. He scored 25 off 26 balls in the chase against CSK.

Harshal will slot in at eight. After starting the season slow he has now picked up 14 wickets at an average of 24.14. He bowled just one over in the last match.
Kagiso Rabada
Rabada will slot in at nine. He picked up 1/23 in the last match against CSK. He picked up the wicket of Sameer Rizvi. The South African pacer has picked up 11 wickets in 10 games.
Rahul Chahar
Chahar will bat at 10 Punjab Kings against CSK. He bowled a brilliant spell of 2/16 and stopped MS Dhoni from hitting boundaries as he bowled the 19th over.
Arshdeep Singh
Arshdeep Singh concludes the likely playing XI for PBKS against CSK. He was expensive in the last match going for 52 off his four overs. He was picked in India's T20 World Cup squad recently.
