Ravi Shastri Demands Action From BCCI President Sourav Ganguly After Journalist Threatens Wriddhiman Saha

Former India National Cricket Team head coach Ravi Shastri has demanded action from the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) President Sourav Ganguly after a journalist had threatened veteran Indian wicketkeeper-batsman, Wriddhiman Saha.
Senior Indian wicket-keeper Wriddhiman Saha, who recently got dropped from the Indian Test team ahead of the two-match Test series against Sri Lanka, had posted a statement on his official Twitter handle claiming that he was threatened by a journalist after he refused to answer his call for an interview. Also, Saha posted a screenshot of the chat on Twitter.

“After all of my contributions to Indian cricket..this is what I face from a so-called “Respected” journalist! This is where the journalism has gone,” Saha tweeted with pictures of messages he received from a reporter.

Meanwhile, former India head coach Ravi Shastri has come out in support of senior wicket-keeper and said that this matter needs to be taken seriously by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) president.
“Shocking a player being threatened by a journo. Blatant position abuse. Something that’s happening too frequently with #TeamIndia. Time for the BCCI PREZ to dive in. Find out who the person is in the interest of every cricketer. This is serious coming from ultimate team man WS,” tweeted Ravi Shastri.

Former Indian opening batsman Virender Sehwag has also posted two tweets in support of Saha. The former explosive batsman slammed the journalist for threatening Wriddhiman Saha.
