Brad Hogg Picks Ravichandran Ashwin As Best Test Bowler For 2021

Former Australia spinner shared a video on his Youtube channel in which he picked Ravichandran Ashwin as his best Test bowler for 2021. He also revealed why he chose Joe Root as the best Test batsman for 2021.

“The best batsman for me in Test cricket in 2021, Joe Root for me. Magnificent year, a thouand and seven hundred runs. The reason why I think he is the best is that he has got no support from his teammates. Anyone going for Joe Root’s head as captain of England- zip it. It’s not his fault,” Brag Hogg said.

Along with Ravichandran Ashwin as the best Test bowler of 2021, the former Aussie spinner also named two more Pakistani bowlers who were outstanding during the year.

“Let’s go out to the bowling front. Ravichandran Ashwin- 67 wickets for India, spin to win, he’s the number 1. Shaheen Afridi and Hasan Ali, 47 and 41 wickets for both of them. They have been carrying Pakistan in the bowling department, so you can’t beat those two,” Hogg further said in the video. Have a look at the video below.
