Ravichandran Ashwin and Harbhajan Singh break silence on ‘Cold War’ rumors
In a special episode on Ravichandran Ashwin’s YouTube show, the duo opened up about the chatter surrounding their relationship. Ashwin, who replaced Harbhajan in the Indian cricket team back in 2011, directly addressed the long-standing rumor of jealousy.
Ashwin said on his YouTube channel, “This whole jealousy bit—before I allow you to answer that, let me clarify something. People look at everything from their perspective. For example, if they are passing a comment on me, they believe that others would see the world through their eyes.”
The former Indian off-spinner further asked, “Their comments that you (Harbhajan) are jealous of this person who is interviewing you today (Ashwin), what would that be about, Bhajji pa?”
'Do you think I am jealous of you?'
A calm and composed Harbhajan shut down all talk of bitterness. The former World Cup winner has made it clear that there was no room for jealousy or bitterness in his heart, as he reminded everyone that real sportsmen don’t carry grudges against their teammates, as they only serve the country.
Harbhajan Singh asked on the YouTube channel, “Do you think I am jealous of you? You are sitting with me today, and we have spoken at length. Do you think I am that kind of person? Even if you were jealous at one point in time, I think it’s justified.”
