Indian off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin came up with another noteworthy effort on Monday, but this time, his contribution with the bat proved to be the difference. Ravichandran Ashwin’s wife Prithi Ashwin was massively delighted after her husband played another match-defying knock with the bat for team India.
The Indian Cricket Team is locking horns with England in the second Test of the four-match series at Chennai. Having won the toss, India elected to bat first and scored 329 runs. The English batsmen succumbed to the Indian bowling, especially Ravichandran Ashwin, who picked yet another fifer and moved close to 400 Test wickets. The Indian team dismissed the English batsmen for just 134 runs in the 2nd innings.

Gaining a massive lead of almost 200 runs, the Indian team went into day 3 of the Test match and they were troubled as the proceedings began and a flurry of wickets came for the English bowlers. However, Indian skipper Virat Kohli played the anchor role and Ravichandran Ashwin joined him as both the players steadied the Indian ship.

Both the batsmen scored 96 runs and stitched a match-winning partnership for team India. After Virat Kohli departed, R Ashwin kept batting at the other hand and asserted that batting can be easy on such a difficult Chennai turf. After Ashwin’s effort, even his wife Prithi Ashwin couldn’t keep calm as she took to Twitter and wrote, “Husband is trolling everyone”
