Faf du Plessis looked in magnificent touch in the ongoing game against Chennai Super Kings. The Royal Challengers Bengaluru stepped up big time for his team and played a magnificent innings for his team when it mattered the most and lighted up the stage at M Chinnaswamy Stadium.

Faf du Plessis looked threatening with the bat and played some crisp shots in his innings. He kept the momentum in Royal Challengers Bengaluru's favor and ensured that he kept the run rate in check in what is the virtual eliminator between the teams at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium.

Faf du Plessis on his way back didn't look happy as he shrugged his head away and walked back to the dug-out. Virat Kohli too looked angry and so did Rajat Patidar as the Royal Challengers Bengaluru batter was given out at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru.

Faf du Plessis slammed his 4th half-century of the season and ended with an innings of 54 runs off 39 balls. The Royal Challengers Bengaluru skipper batted with a strike rate of around 140 and also hit 3 fours and 3 sixes in his innings. However, he got out in an unlucky way.

After Faf du Plessis, Rajat Patidar plays a brutal innings

After Faf du Plessis got out, Rajat Patidar took the onus to himself and played another magnificent innings for his team. The batter has been the main reason behind the turnaround of Royal Challengers Bengaluru in the league and when it mattered, he yet again stepped up for his team.

Rajat Patidar played a brutal innings of 41 runs off 23 balls. He batted with a strike rate of over 178 and also hit 2 fours and 4 sixes in his innings. The batter upped the ante for the team and helped them get some quick runs at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru.

Cameron Green at the other end played a blinder as well. He remained unbeaten at 38 runs before Glenn Maxwell slammed 16 runs off 5 balls to take his team to a big total. Royal Challengers Bengaluru posted a gigantic total of 218 runs on the board at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru.
