After the enthralling first Test between India and Bangladesh, it's now time for the last and final game of the series. The second match of the two-match Test series between the teams is all set to take place at Green Park in Kanpur from Friday (27th September).

The focus has turned towards the second game of the series, and the pitch for the game will be key. As per the reports in ESPNCricinfo, it is learned that the surface for the last game of the Test series will be very different from what it was in the first game at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai.

The second India vs Bangladesh Test will be played on black soil, and it is learned that the surface will be offering very little bounce and carry. The reports also claimed that the pitch at Green Park Kanpur is also unlikely to be a rank turner, and it will be flatter, with the bounce lower and the surface becoming increasingly slower as the Test match progresses.

It is also reported that with a pitch for the second game to be played on black soil, which will get slow, both teams are likely to make changes. India and Bangladesh played with three seamers each in the first match, and in the upcoming game, two pacers plus three spinners are likely to feature.

Therefore there are high chances that India might bring in one of Kuldeep Yadav and Axar Patel into the team. On the other hand, Bangladesh may bring in left-arm spinner Taijul Islam in Nahid Rana's place. The reports also claimed if Shakib Al Hasan misses the game due to injury, then off-spinner Nayeem Hasan will come into the picture.

The last Test played at Kanpur stadium was in 2021 when India played against the New Zealand National Cricket Team. The hosts played three spinners, Ashwin, Jadeja, and Axar Patel, but there wasn't much help for the spinners as the game lasted for five days and ended up in a draw.

Bowlers will have to put hard yards on the surface at the Green Park in Kanpur, while it will be a massive opportunity for batters of both sides to get some runs under their belt. During the last game at the venue, Shreyas Iyer scored a century and a fifty on debut, and Tom Latham slammed two half-centuries.

India won the 1st Test by 280 runs

India took a 1-0 lead in the series after their terrific outing with bat and ball at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai, where the game was played on red soil. The Rohit Sharma-led side won the first game of the series by a massive margin of 280 runs to bag important World Test Championship points.

Ravichandran Ashwin was the star of the Indian Team in the game. He slammed a century and picked six-fer in the match to win the Player of the Match. Apart from him, Ravindra Jadeja also came up with a great performance with bat and ball, taking 5 wickets and scoring 87 runs. Young Gill and Pant also slammed centuries.

The hosts would be keen to replicate a similar kind of performance in the second game and complete the whitewash. They would be high on confidence going into the next Game.
