Revealed: Who are the impact players nominated by RCB and DC in match 24 of IPL 2025

In the 24th match of the Indian Premier League 2025 (IPL 2025), the Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) are locking horns with the Delhi Capitals (DC).

The match between the Axar Patel-led Delhi Capitals and the Rajat Patidar-led Royal Challengers Bengaluru is being played at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru on Thursday, April 10.

Royal Challengers Bengaluru and the Delhi Capitals have started their Indian Premier League 2025 campaign on a dominant note. Both of them have won the same number of games (3), but the Delhi Capitals are the only unbeaten team in the competition so far.

The biggest challenge for the RCB in the match against DC would be to adapt to their home conditions and make it their fortress, which they haven't been able to do over the years.

RCB have a lot of things going right for them in the IPL 2025 as they are not overdependent on the top order, and their bowling unit includes a quality pace-bowling attack and a decent spin attack.

Talking about the Delhi Capitals, all seems very good for them under the leadership of Axar. They have highly experienced campaigners in the team like KL Rahul, Mitchell Starc, Faf du Plessis, and Kuldeep Yadav, who have been doing great.

Also, the younger players like Vipraj Nigam and Ashutosh Sharma have looked in sensational touch. The only concern for them has been the form of the explosive opener Jake Fraser-McGurk, and if he gets going, Delhi Capitals will fly even higher in the competition.

Talking about the head-to-head record, the Royal Challengers Bengaluru have got a great 19-11 edge over the Delhi Capitals.

IPL 2025: Delhi Capitals opt to bowl

Speaking after winning the toss, DC skipper Axar Patel revealed that his injured finger is fine and confirmed KL Rahul's would move back to middle order. He said:

"We will bowl first. My fingers are fine, protecting it, but if needed, I will bowl all four overs. Faf is fit, he's in and (Sameer Rizvi) Rizzie is out. We've decided on our order and KL will bat in the middle-order. Spinnerswiull have a role here, but the fats bowlers can also take wickets. They'll have to play thee roles they've been selected to do, we've two good leg-spinners, they're our attacking options, we have defending options as well, so we'll have to play according to whatever the match situation demands.

Meanwhile, Rajat Patidar said that they also wanted to chase, but was anyway looking forward to bat first. He said:

"We would have loved to chase, but the surface looks hard, we'll look to put up a good total and defend it. I always back my instincts, but I do plan as well. It's important to win home matches as well, important to have the momentum going. No changes for us."
