Revealed: Who are the Impact Players nominated for DC vs RCB match 46 of IPL 2025?

The list of impact players nominated for the 46th match of the Indian Premier League 2025 (IPL 2025) has officially been revealed on Sunday, April 27.

The Axar Patel-led Delhi Capitals (DC) and the Rajat Patidar-led Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) are taking on each other in the high-octane Indian Premier League (IPL) match at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi.

Heading into the match, both DC and RCB are high on confidence as they registered stunning victories over Lucknow Super Giants and Rajasthan Royals in their previous match.

DC are in the second spot on the points table while RCB are in the third spot with 12 points each, but the Rajat Patidar-led Royal Challengers Bengaluru have played one extra match.

The match between DC and RCB is a contest between two evenly-matched sides as they both have a reliable batting unit and a great bowling unit.

In their last IPL 2025 face-off, Delhi Capitals registered a win on a tricky Chinnaswamy surface with KL Rahul playing a sensational knock while chasing. After steering his side to a win, KL Rahul pounded his chest and drove his bat into the ground like a sword, declaring, "This is my ground."

Virat Kohli, who is known for giving it back to the opposition, would want to do the same, and all the spotlight would be on him. RCB have won all games where Kohli has scored a half-century this season.

Talking about the head-to-head record, RCB hold a 19-12 edge over DC, with one match having no result. Also, since 2021, DC have won only two out of seven matches against RCB. The playoff chances are at stake during the clash.

IPL 2025: Royal Challengers Bengaluru win the toss and opt to field

Speaking at the toss, Rajat Patidar said that the pitch is good to bat on and confirmed Jacob Bethell's inclusion in the playing XI as a replacement for ill Phil Salt. He said:

"We will bowl first. The wicket is quite good to bat on and I don't think it's going to change too much."

Axar Patel said that they wanted to bat first and confirmed Faf du Plessis' return to the playing XI. He stated:

"That is an advantage too but if we had won the toss, I think we would have batted only and use the wicket in the second innings. In the last game, there was no dew but in the game against Mumbai, there was some dew.

"They (LSG) had two foreign batters at the top so I wanted to bowl against them. I was bowling with a good rhythm, the plan wasn't to bowl four overs in a row but I kept bowling so I continued with it. Faf is back and the Impact player we will decide according to the situation."
