Indian keeper-batsman Rishabh Pant’s Test career will come full circle when Virat Kohli’s men take on England in the five-Test series, starting next week. Rishabh Pant made his Test debut when India and England clashed in five Tests three years ago. The 23-year old named the players he turns to for advice whenever needed.

Rishabh Pant, who started his Test career with a six, has been in sensational form in the last few months in the format. After playing an instrumental role in the historic series win in Australia, the 23-year old also had an unforgettable home series against England. The southpaw has a formidable record in red-ball cricket, having smashed 1403 runs in 21 Tests at 43.84 with three centuries and six fifties.

Rishabh Pant reveals he talks to Rohit Sharma a lot, speaking about the previous matches about what they might have done differently. The youngster claimed he turns to Virat Kohli to assist him with the technical stuff, especially about how to play in England and maintaining the footwork.

“All the seniors and coaching staff, like, I talk to Rohit bhai a lot. Talking about the game, previous matches, what we could have done, what we could not have done. In the future, if a similar situation happens, what are the possible outcomes, what more can we add. Virat bhaiya is there to help me out with the technical stuff, especially about playing in England, standing a bit forward or back,” Pant told in a video uploaded by BCCI.

Rishabh Pant further claimed he talks to Ravi Shastri, who has played cricket worldwide and Ravichandran Ashwin as he understands the batsmen’s moves. The 23-year old wishes to learn from everybody within the team.

Ravi bhai is also there, I speak to him a lot because he has played enough cricket all over the world, he has the idea. Ash bhai, he always has an idea about what the batsman could do. So, when he bowls, as a batsman I can ask him what he’s thinking. So, as a player, I just want to learn from each and every person,” he added.
