On Wednesday (17th March) night, India Legends will meet West Indies Legends during the first semi-final of the Road Safety World Series 2020/21 at Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Stadium (Raipur).
At the end of the league stage of this tournament, India Legends finished as the table-topper with 20 points. Though they had the same points as Sri Lanka Legends, India Legends finished on top due to the successful head-to-head result. Meanwhile, West Indies Legends qualified for the semi-finals at the very last moment as they finished in the fourth position in the points table with 12 points.

India Legends
India Legends have dominated both the years. After beating West Indies Legends and Sri Lanka Legends last year, they restarted this year with a thrashing victory against Bangladesh Legends. Though England Legends managed to beat them, they claimed another big win against South Africa Legends.
During their match against Bangladesh Legends, opener Virender Sehwag scored firing 80 not out. Sachin Tendulkar has maintained his great image in this tournament too who scored 60 not out in the last game. Irfan Pathan, Yuvraj Singh and Manpreet Gony have also impressed with their firing batting performances.
Among the India Legends bowlers, Munaf Patel has taken 8 wickets in this tournament after playing five matches while Yusuf Pathan has got 7 wickets in three games and Pragyan Ojha has picked up 5 wickets in five matches. Ifran and Yuvraj both have also collected 4 wickets each.

Dwayne Smith has played some firing roles as a batsman who has scored 47, 10 and 58 runs respectively this year. Also, Brian Lara played two crucial unbeaten knocks this year as he scored 53* and 31* before scoring 3 runs in the late moment of the last night.
In the crucial last game against England Legends, where they must have to win, while Dwayne Smith provided a strong start, Narsingh Deonarine later controlled the game and his 53 not out helped the Caribbean team to win that match on the final ball.
