Fans on X reacted after South African batter Rassie van der Dussen slammed a magnificent century in the ICC World Cup 2023 game against Sri Lanka at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi. The Proteas batter looked a class apart and batted with authority, playing shots all around the park.

Rassie van der Dussen came to bat after South Africa lost Temba Bavuma early. Since the time he stepped on the field. The batter made Sri Lanka bowlers look clueless and smashed them all over the park. He displayed utter dominance and it seemed that the opposition had no answers. 

Van der Dussen along with Quinton de Kock (100) took an attack on the Sri Lanka bowlers and had no mercy on them. The duo added over 200 runs for the partnership and outplayed the opposition. It didn’t even once look like they were struggling, such was the caliber of their innings. 

Rassie van der Dussen slammed a sensational century and made almost everyone stand and applaud him. The batter smashed 108 runs off 110 balls and also smashed 13 fours and 2 sixes in his innings. He batted with a strike rate of around 100. 

Rassie van der Dussen’s innings made sure that South Africa crossed 200 runs with ease. His innings provided a platform for the other batters to unleash themselves and take their team to the gigantic total in Delhi. Aiden Markram and Heinrich Klaasen have been batting staggeringly well and have tried to smash almost every ball out of the park.
