Gujarat Titans batter Sai Sudharsan has achieved a massive feat in the history of the Indian Premier League (IPL). The left-hander became only the second batter in the league to register five consecutive 50+ scores at a venue as he did at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.

Sai Sudharsan achieved the feat during the ongoing game against Rajasthan Royals in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025. The 23rd game of the league between the teams is taking place at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on Wednesday (9th April).

Sai Sudharsan came up with a magical effort with the bat for his team in the ongoing game against Rajasthan Royals. Opening the batting, he continued his golden form with the bat and made sure that he took his team to the big total on the board.

Sai Sudharsan, who is the leading run-getter for the Gujarat Titans, took his team off to a decent start even though he lost his opening partner, Shubman Gill. The left-hander played some magnificent shots in his innings and put the opposition under massive pressure.

Sai Sudharsan brought up his half-century in just 32 balls

Sai Sudharsan held the one end up and slammed yet another half-century in the ongoing IPL. The Gujarat Titans batter brought up his half-century in just 32 balls and, even after that, made sure that he scored as many runs as possible for his team against Rajasthan Royals.

This was his fifth consecutive fifty-plus score in Ahmedabad as his scores in the last five innings read: 82*, 63, 74, 103, 84*. He joined AB de Villiers as one of the two batters in the league to score five consecutive 50+ scores at a venue. The former Royal Challengers Bengaluru batter achieved the feat at M Chinnaswamy Stadium from 2018 to 2019.

Sai Sudharsan was removed by Tushar Deshpande in the 19th over of the innings. The fast bowler bowled a brilliant yorker and the batter swung the ball hard, getting an inside edge as he lost shape. The ball was travelling but Sanju Samson dived full length to his right and low to pouch that with both hands.

Apart from him, Jos Buttler (36), Shahrukh Khan (36), and Sherfane Rutherford also made handy contributions as Gujarat posted a massive total of 217 runs on the board. For Rajasthan Royals, Tushar Deshpande and Maheesh Theekshana picked two wickets each, but they were expensive.
