Former Indian cricketers Sreesanth and Harbhajan Singh marked one of the most controversial exchanges ever witnessed in the history of the IPL back in 2008; however, the long-dumped slapgate controversy has resurfaced through a video exposed by former IPL chairman Lalit Modi during his exchange with former Australian skipper Michael Clarke.
For those unknown to the brawl, it took place between Indian cricketers Harbhajan Singh and the Kerala Pacer in an IPL match between the Mumbai Indians and the Kings XI Punjab. The brawl got so intense that Sreesanth was spotted in tears after his team won the match.
However, 17 years since the incident have passed by, and the players have spoken of it publicly, also addressing that they have resolved all issues between them and now have mutual respect and honour their dignity as individual cricketers.

The feud between the Indian former cricketers Harbhajan Singh and Sreesanth during the inaugural season of the IPL back in 2008, which took an ugly shape with Singh slapping the fast bowler, has once again taken a controversial shape, as Lalit Modi reveals the video publicly.
This incident left the young pacer in tears, while Harbhajan was penalized for the derogatory move and had to bear an 11-match suspension, which ruled the stand-in skipper out for the remainder of the season.
However, after 17 years, Lalit Modi has reignited the fire by releasing the video of the incident during an interaction with former World Cup-winning Australian captain Michael Clarke in the Beyond23 Podcast.

Harbhajan Singh opened up on his biggest regret following the incident
Just a few months back, Harbhajan Singh also spoke on the incident, claiming that if there was one thing he could change in his life, it would be that incident with Sreesanth. This realization hit him hard after the former KXIP paceman's daughter refused to have a word with Bhajji.
“One thing I’d want to change in my life is that incident with Sreesanth. I want to remove that incident from my career. That is the incident I would change from my list. What transpired was wrong, and I shouldn’t have done what I did. I apologized 200 times," said Singh in an exchange with former Indian spinner Ravichandran Ashwin on his 'Kutti Stories with Ash' show.
