'Shameless' Abrar Ahmed crosses the line again, takes ‘tea’ jibe at India in disgusting video

Abrar Ahmed’s fresh troll lights up social media amid India vs Pakistan row: The India vs Pakistan 2026 T20 World Cup match faces a dilemma, after the Pakistan government decided not to take the field against their arch-rivals on 15th February. However, the Pakistan team has already arrived in Sri Lanka, where their group-stage matches are scheduled for the upcoming marquee event. As the controversy between the two countries continues, another video has resurfaced on social media.

The Pakistan cricketers are making the headlines for the wrong reasons. As the Men in Green spinner, Abrar Ahmed, has once again shared a video of himself alongside Fakhar Zaman and Saim Ayub, where the latter has been drinking a cup of tea. In the video, he yet again brought up the political agenda between India and Pakistan. He was seen asking Saim Ayub to provide a sip of tea to Fakhar.

Abrar Ahmed in the video was caught saying, “Fakhar bhai, Fakhar bhai, mein chahata hoon Saim jo hain na apko ek sip de, apni chai ki ek sip de. Sir, aap humein har baat dil se samjhate hain. Yeh ki aap meri baat maanne ka darr rakhte hain ya khushi se maante hain, ya phir darr ki wajah se? Jo log pyaar nahi karte, woh apna nuksaan karte hain. Jo aapko jaante hain, lekin aapse pyaar nahi karte.

Politics and Cricket should be kept away

This troll takes us back to 2019, when IAF pilot Wing Commander Abhinandan Varthaman was caught by Pakistan, and he was seen having tea, stating it to be ‘Fantastic.’

Six years later, in 2025, Abrar Ahmed took to social media to mock IAF pilot Wing Commander Abhinandan Varthaman, who was released by Pakistan on India's order. The former posted a photo on Instagram on 1st March 2025, posing with a cup of tea with the caption "Fantastic Tea".

PCB still keep their stance

As the tension rises between the two countries, cricket was the only handshake; however, there has also been a political impact on and off the field.

However, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is in deep trouble as it did not send any formal notice to the ICC about its selective participation in the tournament, as no social media posts are considered formal by the apex body. The PCB also did not receive any support from other board members on the ongoing controversy.
