Pakistan skipper Shan Masood was involved in a heavy verbal altercation with Bangladesh's Mushfiqur Rahim during the ongoing Test match between the two teams.
The incident happened on the third day of the Second Test on Monday.
Shan Masood and Mushfiqur Rahim argue over the delay
The incident took place in the second session of the third day of the Second Test. At the end of the 78th over of Bangladesh's second innings, Masood and Rahim had an argument about the delay in proceedings.
Rahim seemed to be asking Shan Masood to get the game going rather than waste time, whereas Masood retaliated by saying that he did not mind when the former took treatment for cramps on the ground.
The stump mics and broadcast cameras captured the incident.

Mushfiqur Rahim scores record-breaking century
During Bangladesh's second innings of this Test, Mushfiqur Rahim made 137 and put up important partnerships. Rahim added 123 with Litton Das and 77 with Taijul Islam to take Bangladesh to 390.
It was Mushfiqur's 14th Test century, one more than any other Bangladesh batter. Mominul Haque, with 13 centuries, is now in second place on the chart of most Test centuries for Bangladesh.
Mushfiqur is also Bangladesh's most-capped Test player and their highest run-scorer in the format.
Bangladesh on the verge of history
Having won the first Test of this series last week, Bangladesh are on the verge of history as they get closer to another series win over Shan Masood's men.
In the first Test, Bangladesh skipper Najmul Hossain Shanto made 101 and 87 while Mehidy Hasan Miraz and Nahid Rana took five-wicket hauls to give Bangladesh an iconic 104-run win.
Now, in the second Test, Litton Das made a century in the first innings, and Mushfiqur Rahim has made one in the second. Bangladesh have now set Pakistan 437 to try and level the series.
In 2024 as well, Bangladesh had blanked Shan Masood and his men 2-0 in an away series. If Bangladesh wins this series, it will be their first home Test series win over Pakistan.
WTC Standings after BAN vs PAK 2nd Test
After their loss in the first Test, Shan Masood's troops are currently lying in seventh place on the points table of the World Test Championship, while Bangladesh are sixth.
In the current 2025-27 cycle, this series is the second one for both teams. All nine participating teams must play six series in the WTC.
Last year in June, Bangladesh lost 0-1 to Sri Lanka away, while Pakistan played out a 1-1 draw against South Africa at home in October.
If Bangladesh wins the second Test, they will rise to fifth place on the WTC table, leaving India in sixth and Pakistan in eighth place in the nine-team tournament.
